What a beautiful winery! Frogtown was one of the stops on a wine tour I was enjoying with some friends. I can honestly say this was one of my favorite spots for many reasons!

First, it wasn’t too commercial looking. The place was so “winery like” so-to-speak. Everything about this place made you feel like it was all about the wine and not so much about getting you to buy stuff. Some wineries have a gift shop as soon as you walk in *insert eye-roll*. It’s not a big deal to me to have a gift shop, but I want to immerse myself in the energy and love for the winemaking when I visit a winery and Frogtown hits the mark!

Second, the wine is DELICIOUS! Naturally when you go wine tasting, you want the wine to taste good and let me tell you, I’ve visited some places that didn’t have the best wines, but most of the wine I tasted here was good. Like most wine tastings, you’ll be given choices of different types of wine categories to taste, therefore you’ll be able to taste the types you prefer. The one thing I loved about this particular tasting was you could pay an extra $5 to include a souvenir glass and I LOVE collecting glasses from wine touring! Oddly enough I’ve found that most of the north Georgia wineries didn’t offer souvenir glasses. But don’t forget to get yourself one at Frogtown!

Finally, the food is just as good as the wine. I’m sorry I did not get photos of my food, but I got a delicious flatbread and of course drank wine with it! I encourage you all to spend a little time here enjoying the view of the vineyard, grapes, and greenery and of course the food as well. Take a look at those gorgeous healthy koi fish!
